The Sentimental Bloke'

The Sentimental Bloke (sh. Sentimentalni tip) je australijski crno-bijeli nijemi film snimljen 1919. u režiji Raymonda Longforda. Predstavlja adaptaciju popularne pjesme C.J. Dennisa. Naslovni junak (čiji lik tumači Arthur Tauchert) je obješenjak koji se kocka i bavi sitnim kriminalom prije nego što ga ljubav prema lijepoj radnici Lottie Lyell natjera da se smiri i postane porodični čovjek. Film je doživio veliki uspjeh u Australiji i potakao snimanje nastavka Ginger Mick sljedeće godine; u SAD i drugim zemljama je imao manje uspjeha jer publika nije razumjela australski žargon i reference u međutitlovima. Danas se smatra najboljim australskim nijemim filmom i jednim od najboljih australskih filmova uopće.
