Central Dir District is a district in the Malakand Division of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, Pakistan. On 23 January 2022 PTI Government established a new district Central Dir from Upper Dir district territory. Mainly the area is composed of malizai clan of Yousafzai.
It consists of five tehsils, namely Akhagram Karo, Larjum, Nehag Dara, Sahib Abad and Wari Tehsil.[1][2]
The Larjum and Wari Tehsil are old tehsils while Akhagram Karo, Nehag Dara and Sahib Abad were newly created along the district.
